The Rules

The Golden Rule: Treat other as you want to be treated.  i.e. No Flaming, Foul Language, Trolling, or Spamming allowed. Minor violations will result in warnings. Several repeat warnings or flagrant violations will result in banning.

No Hate Speech: No hate speech, racial or ethnic slurs will be tolerated. Violators will be banned.

No Rule 34: No Pornography allowed anywhere on this site. Violators will be permanently banned. Posters of illegal pornography will be reported to the proper authorities. We are a family site and this is a covenant of our hosting plan.

Solicitation: Venues and Event Organizers are encouraged to create groups for promotional purposes.  Notification posts in related groups of new venues or event groups is allowed. Posting links within profiles to your commercial website (for example a painting service) are allowed.  Spamming solicitation offers to groups, members or any of our other communication tools is not. Violators will be banned per the Golden Rule. Premium advertising space is available in the form of banner ads and featured groups on the home page, please support Wargamer Connect.

Copyrighted Material: All posters are asked to respect the copyright laws of the United States and your local copyright laws. Copyrighted material will be removed from the site by request of the copyright holder. Violators will be warned or possibly banned depending on the level of infraction.

Site Use

This site is open to everyone who wants to use it for promoting the wargaming community.

No Multiple Personal Accounts. If you wish to open a new account please contact Wargamer Connect to delete your old account. Users are allowed to have venue and/or event logins to manage their groups, in addition to their personal account.

Please report inappropriate contact between members including solicitation, harassment, threats, etc. Violators will be banned per the Golden Rule.

If you have been banned and wish to return please contact us, if you don't your new account will be also be banned.

Advertising

We have background and banner ads available. Featured Groups are also available for a monthly fee. Please contact us for rates.

Wargamer Connect uses advertising for the purpose of generating revenue to cover costs of hosting, bandwidth, and contracting programmers for upkeep, new features and design.
